Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to support decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently to guarantee employees receive their weekly paychecks without delay.
- Maintain the general ledger and support the month-end close procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
