Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Lead financial statement preparation and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Oversee SOX compliance initiatives and internal control audits
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure team performance excellence
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel (VBA)
- Deep expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven track record in SOX 404 compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
