Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Prepare financial statements and compliance reports adhering to GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audit preparation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Support tax preparation and documentation for external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Knowledge of Ohio tax regulations and compliance requirements
