Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyse financial statements including balance sheets and income reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with team members to resolve financial discrepancies
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/Xero)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Proven experience with weekend or shift-based work schedules
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
