Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate transaction processing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for leadership
- Coordinate external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for departmental cost control
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred)
- Demonstrated success in financial reporting and audit coordination
