Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and optimize tax strategies
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Conduct financial audits and prepare detailed variance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and client relationship management
- Active CPA license required
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
