Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance to identify trends and potential cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
