Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and SOX requirements
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process optimizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
