Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
