Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and track variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
