Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial reconciliations and general ledger entries for the weekend period.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, trial balances, and audit schedules.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processing to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget management.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end tax filings and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
