Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and variance reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
