Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and support external audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Generate detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
