Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual audit process, including documentation and record retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
