Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and analyze budgets vs. actuals variance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting
- Optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred)
- Prepare tax filings and manage regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Proven experience with internal controls and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry a plus
