Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Enter and maintain accurate vendor data and payment terms in the accounting system.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and outstanding inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare supporting schedules.
- Prepare check runs and assist with bank deposits as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
