Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for stakeholders
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental growth
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech or SaaS industries
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (including pivot tables)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closes with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and anomalies
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal audits
