Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including bank statements and credit card accounts, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in year-end audits and ensure all tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements are met on time.
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve complex financial discrepancies.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, including calculations, deductions, and distribution.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, urgent hiring environment.
