Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Support the preparation of corporate tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts to support company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
