Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support client positions.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and explain tax results.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax planning strategies.
- Ensure compliance with changing tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a strong plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
