Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with tax laws.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide accurate financial forecasting and budget analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
