Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns to ensure full compliance.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve budgeting processes and forecasting accuracy.
- Manage general ledger functions and ensure all journal entries are accurate and timely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
