Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare complex financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC tax regulations.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls.
Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a senior accounting role within the UK.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
