Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage complex tax compliance and audit preparation for diverse client portfolios
- Develop and implement process improvements using advanced accounting software
- Analyze financial data to drive strategic business decisions and forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants while ensuring adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration
- Active CPA license or commitment to obtain within 6 months
