Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead internal control audits and ensure GAAP compliance for tech clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Provide strategic financial guidance to startup clients scaling their operations
- Manage tax preparation and compliance for S-Corporations and C-Corporations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in tech/CPA firm
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and international transactions
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
