Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are effective and compliant.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure timely payments of sales and use taxes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to management and external clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
