Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with cross-departmental coordination
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial risk mitigation
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Create detailed financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants through our structured development program
- Optimize financial systems and processes using advanced Excel and QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial data
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
