Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions
- Conduct variance analysis and report financial performance to stakeholders
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and audited regularly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Remote work experience with strong self-management skills
