Responsibilities
- Execute month-end close procedures with precision, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and operational integrity
- Analyze financial performance trends and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and ensure data integrity
- Manage tax preparation processes and liaise with external tax advisors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex modeling
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial data for non-finance leaders
