Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for Miami and NY-based clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and state-specific regulations
- Implement process improvements using automation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Proven track record of remote work success
