Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive financial audits and prepare supporting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Nevada tax requirements
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
