Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy of journal entries and completing month-end close procedures efficiently.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify financial trends and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Assist with tax preparation, compliance filings, and internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and implement process improvements.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies and documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with high self-discipline and time management.
