Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Manage complex reconciliations across multiple accounting systems
- Collaborate with tax teams to support quarterly and annual tax filings
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial software platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel with advanced functions
- Proven track record of leading multi-location accounting operations
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
