Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with the tax team to prepare tax returns and ensure compliance.
- Oversee the payroll process and ensure accurate timekeeping records.
- Provide financial reporting and insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
