Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately and timely process high-volume invoices, ensuring proper coding, approval routing, and posting to the general ledger.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolve billing inquiries, and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of AP sub-ledgers, bank statements, and vendor statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- PO Matching: Review and match Purchase Orders (POs) to receiving reports and invoices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly AP reports for management review.
- System Management: Maintain and update vendor master data within the ERP system.
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring all outstanding items are resolved and accurately reflected in financial statements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
