Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Reconciliation: Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure financial records match.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and post monthly financial statements, ledgers, and general ledger entries.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll data for multiple clients.
- Compliance: Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all financial documentation complies with federal and state regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to manage client accounts efficiently during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration.
