Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse client portfolios, including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for transaction processing and reporting
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or enterprise accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a remote environment
