Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for management review.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior leadership on financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with strict adherence to deadlines.
