Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards, savings accounts, and investment products.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area, ensuring proper cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Identify and report suspicious activity or potential fraud in accordance with banking regulations.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance transfers, and other banking needs.
- Adhere to all banking security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or banking is preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic software applications.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
