Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to drive strategic business decisions and improve profitability
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations
- Lead cross-departmental financial initiatives and process improvements
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during reviews
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize team workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work preference
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in complex financial analysis and reporting
