Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes across multi-state operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for DC and NC divisions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly reviews
- Maintain internal controls across remote finance workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA required
- 5+ years experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance (DC/NC focus)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, SAP, and Excel
- Experience with remote finance team management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in autonomous, remote work environment
