Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed expectations.
- Cross-sell bank products and services such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the teller line and lobby.
- Assist with opening new accounts and performing account maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous cash handling experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle large amounts of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software (Windows, Microsoft Office).
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
- Reliable transportation is required.
