Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing for members with a high degree of precision.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by answering account inquiries, resolving issues, and educating members on our products and services.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to recommend credit cards, savings accounts, and investment products to meet member financial goals.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict security protocols, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations to protect the institution.
- Operations: Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Technology: Utilize core banking software and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service or cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment.
- Skills: Strong math skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Interpersonal: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
- Trustworthiness: Must pass a background check and possess a high level of integrity and discretion.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by branch schedule.
