Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Lead financial audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Prepare tax filings and regulatory compliance documents
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a remote environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
