Responsibilities
- Process weekly/monthly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, local laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding and offboarding processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Basic math proficiency and attention to detail
- Ability to learn payroll software (training provided)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Willingness to obtain voluntary payroll certification (APA/PHR)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
