Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Manage complex reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support quarterly tax filings and planning
- Provide strategic financial insights to guide client business decisions
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and accounting software platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and California-specific tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
