Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and code incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing payments.
- Data Entry: Accurately input vendor data and transaction details into accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable statements to ensure they match the general ledger.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries regarding payment status.
- Filing & Organization: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial documents and receipts.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing reports as required by management.
- Expense Management: Process employee expense reports and reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in an administrative or accounting support role is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure high data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
