Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and compliant with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and collections.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for executive leadership.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, ensuring data integrity during night shift processing.
- Collaborate with the team to implement process improvements and automation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proven experience working successfully in a night shift role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
