Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or Master’s in Accounting (MAcc) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
