In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and leading our month-end close process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings.
- Provide detailed variance analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain internal controls and improve financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
